Fluffy loved donuts. In fact she ate donuts just about every day. But when Fluffy got a new job that required traveling, she was no longer able to get her favorite donuts from her favorite donut shop. Despite diligent searching as she traveled, she was never able to find donuts that satisfied her craving. What to do?

Round two at the Minnesota State Fair! π‘β¨
I came back for a second visit this year because there were still so many foods I wanted to try, including more of the new items and a few other finds that caught my attention. And I can genuinely say everything in this video was so good!
Starting with the savory, my favorites from this trip have to be the birria bombs from eltacotorro_mn and the al pastor taco from mannystortasmn. Both were packed with flavor and easily things I would get again. The Peri-Peri bowl from afrodeli was another standout. It definitely brings the heat, but it was so good, especially paired with their Mango Sunrise drink. The sweet, fruity drink was the perfect match for the spice. π₯π₯
Of course, we had to mix in plenty of desserts along the way too. All of the desserts we tried were very good, so itβs honestly hard to choose a favorite. But if I had to pick one, the ube cheesecake wontons from Saturday Dumpling Co. were a standout for me. Such a fun dessert and definitely something I would get again!
Safe to say my second trip to the fair was very successful. There are way too many good things to try everything in one day!

πΈ: NEW from loonlakeicedtea this year was the caramel apple iced tea and it was yummy! I still prefer the butterfly pea tea but this was another solid one this year π
πΈ: also NEW from gigglescampfiregrill was the timber twists with Italian sausage, mozzarella, cream cheese in a manicotti shell wrapped in bacon could go without the dipping sauce though and we also got a pina ciderlada soo good w/ freshly pressed apples, pineapple juice & coconut cream π΄β¨
πΈ: NEW vendor & food this year roonssavories we tried the delicious chicken tinga with rice in a savory cone w/ tomato chipotle sauce my husband and I both really enjoyed this!! Loved the cheese baked into the savory waffle cone π

is it just me or did they change the recipe? They tasted fine the next day (usually they get stale the day after!) worth trying but also might get it again #fortheculture
β’ australianbatteredpotatoes beef brisket potatoes had a mealy texture and the cheesy sauce was not what I was expecting. Soggy and barely any meat for the price. Meat tasted off. And I ended up having this come out of both ends over night. ππ€’ Idk if I got a bad batch at the end of the night but I wish I could get my money back for this because it was $20 and I only tried 2 pieces ! π« ββ
